YMCA Early Child Care activities are designed to meet the growth and developmental needs of each child we serve through STREAMin3, a comprehensive curriculum model for birth-to-five classrooms that seamlessly blends a focus on academic and social-emotional learning.

STREAMin3 empowers children to be active learners and with 2 locations to serve your early learning needs, we offer infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms, from birth to age 4.

• Licensed by Virginia Department of Education

• Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 5:30pm

• Meals and snacks provided daily

• VA DSS Subsidy Provider

• Y Financial Assistance, pending approved application

The YMCA partners with The Alleghany Foundation, Alleghany/Covington Department of Social Services, and United Way of Virginia’s Blue Ridge to provide financial assistance, pending qualified application, in conjunction with the YMCA’s Annual Campaign Fund.
